I’d like to take a few minutes and talk about how the Joyce & Bary team can help you with the disability application process.

I’ve practiced Social Security law for over 23 years, worked with a lot of good people. I’ve attended thousands of hearings before hundreds of judges. The team that Jim and I have put together over the last five years is one of the best group of people I’ve worked with. I don’t want that to be just an empty statement. The people that we work with are well trained, and they care about their clients.

To give you some examples, if you’re ready to file for disability, or if you have filed for disability and you’ve been turned down, you most likely have no income, and there’s a good chance that you’ve lost your medical insurance. Our team is willing to go above and beyond. We’ll work with our clients. We’ll try and identify charitable organizations that might be able to provide housing assistance, rental assistance, any type of help with a water bill or a light bill. We’ll also try and place our clients with charitable organizations or charity care organizations that might be able to work with them with free clinics and get them at least some sort of medical treatment.

Any case that we take, we file the initial application, or if you’ve been turned down, we’ll file the appeal. And of course, I will be there to represent you at the hearing if that becomes necessary.

As you can imagine, during the disability application process, there’s many forms, medical records and things like that that have to be submitted. At no time do I ask my client to submit any form directly to Social Security. At no time do I want my client speaking to Social Security. When we file an application or an appeal, we request that the Social Security Administration contact us. directly. That’s one of the reasons why you’ve hired us as an attorney, and that’s why we want to help. There are many times that we will have to deal directly with the Social Security Administration or even the state agency that’s making the medical determination. We’ll deal directly with those people so you don’t have to.

Those are just a few of the ways that our team can help at every step.
